Your retina is the light sensitive lining in the back of your eye. It contains millions of special nerve cells that react to light and send electrical impulses to your optic nerve, which your brain converts into the images you see. Yet, retinal diseases are the leading cause of blindness in adults in the U.S. Join Cole Eye Institute ophthalmologist Alex Yuan, MD, PhD in a free online chat where he will be available to answer your questions concerning the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the retina.
